Privacy and Personal Space

Personal Space is an invitation-only community. Travel booking access does not automatically grant access. When invitations are enabled, each of the four original members may admit up to 10 new people: up to 40 new members and 44 members in total. New members cannot invite others.

What you share, including existing content

Approved new members can see existing and future shared posts, photos, reels, stories, opinions and member profiles, subject to blocking and normal content expiry. A new invitation expands the audience for content already shared in Personal Space. Other people’s private chats are not included. Direct messages are available to their two participants; new conversations still use the normal request, acceptance and block controls.

Your contacts use a name you explicitly save, or the number you already saved. Otherwise, a safe profile name is shown when available. An invitation does not share phone numbers, import phone contacts, follow anyone or accept a private chat. Phone labels previously authorized within the original four-person circle are not extended to new relationships. Attaching a trip shares only its public package or destination and date, never your phone number, payment details, pickup address or booking reference.

Your saved contact names

Adding a contact stores the number you enter and an optional name in your Sudur account. On supported browsers, Choose phone contact lets you explicitly select names and numbers to save. We do not read your phonebook automatically. These labels are private to your account and do not change another member’s profile name. A saved contact does not grant chat access or reveal a phone number you have not already supplied.

Invitation links

A link can admit one person and is valid for 7 days. Its creator can revoke it while unused. Unused links reserve admission capacity until used, expired or revoked. Expiry or revocation of an unused link is not an expiry of a joined member’s access. Joining requires normal verified-phone sign-in and explicit acceptance of the current community rules and invitation disclosure. Keep invitation links private and share them only with the intended person.

Private media

Uploads are stored in a private bucket. Viewing requires a signed-in, authorized account. Stories stop being viewable after 24 hours. Deleting a post hides it immediately and requests removal of its uploaded media. Files may remain in provider backups under the provider’s retention policies.

Safety and messages

Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. A report shares an excerpt of the reported message with community moderators. Moderators do not have a general inbox for browsing private conversations. Report excerpts are removed 90 days after a report closes. Blocking prevents interaction and hides each member’s content from the other.

Device notifications

Notifications are optional. Permission is requested only when you enable them. Push alerts do not include message text. Browser and device support varies; on iPhone, web push requires the installed home-screen app. You can disable notifications in Personal Space or your browser settings.

Online and Away

Sharing your activity status starts off. If you enable it in Personal Space settings, accepted, unblocked chat contacts can see Online while you are recently active in Personal Space, or Away while an inactive session is still connected. Status expires shortly after you leave or disconnect. No precise last-seen time or activity history is shown. Turning sharing off hides your status across your devices; no indicator can also mean status is unavailable.

Your controls

You can edit your profile, remove your posts, block members and report content. Uploads are checked for supported file formats and size; they are not automatically scanned for harmful content. Avoid uploading sensitive information.

For account deletion or privacy requests, use Sudur support.
